Types of People You Meet in Ayala North Exchange

They say that people can be in places at once, but once you land in Makati, you’re in a different setting, facing different people every day. Once you go anywhere in Makati, the first thing that pops into your head are the places and eateries that aren’t normally found down South. Another thing one should consider when you go to places are people. And I’m about to introduce to you the people in Ayala North Exchange.

Built by Ayala Land Inc., these buildings stand out near Makati Medical Center, and within the vicinity or in the building has food places as well as shop places that you would see throughout your visit. But you shouldn’t consider the place itself only, but also the type of people you would encounter when you drop by at Ayala North Exchange.

Here's a list of people that you'd mostly encounter on your visit:

• Professionals/Employees
Often in corporate attire, business casual, in uniform, or smart casual, we have a lot of these in Makati. It’s undeniable that they automatically mean they work in high end companies or offices. The most common encounter you would see these people are their lunch breaks. You would always see them lining up in food stalls or probably eating at a restaurant, and are usually English speaking, talking about their things, talking about business or laughing at their jokes. They’re usually identified by groups or in pairs, so be sure to say, ‘Hi!’ whenever you encounter one!

• Couples
Usually, these are in their early 20s or adult couples that you would see, and they would speak in either English or Tagalog, depending on which one you would meet. Oftentimes, you would be seeing them eating at a restaurant or casually talking to each other in cafés, and they would be even shopping sometimes! So when you see a couple, make sure to give them a smile!

• Families
If you see a family going around Ayala North Exchange, they probably came to have a family bonding at the lush greenery at the elevated walkway or they’re currently staying in one of the rooms at Seda Hotel and decided to head at the mall part to have fun with themselves. No matter how big or small they are, they are a fun sight to see not only because of their kids, but also their pets they sometimes bring to the greens. The key is that you interact with the kids and smile at them whenever you would see them!

• Friends
Like professionals, these are usually seen in pairs or in groups. They’re most probably in their early 20s and are usually dressed casually as they please. You would usually meet them when they’re out shopping in the outlets, eating at restaurants, having drinks/coffee in a café or in an upscale bar, or simply in a dessert place. There are ones that mainly speak in English or in Taglish, depending on which group or pair you see along the way, so either way, smile!

There are other people you would encounter along your visit at the Ayala North Exchange, but normally, these are people one would normally see in a city setting. The only advice in bumping into people is that if you encounter anyone not only in the place mentioned, but in other places, don’t hesitate to give them a smile and greet them!
