Pioneered by International Consultant for Branding and Design, Brian Tenorio, the event dubbed as "Fashion Meets Tech" brought together creative individuals from various fields with the purpose of converging ideas as well as connections in the realm of fashion and technology.
Prior to the event, Brian explained the Fashion/Tech Mixer/Mashup event with these quick points:
"A mixer is a meet-up or chat-up where people meet up and chat up about the topic for that event. In this case, our friends from fashion get to meet up people from tech and vice versa. These "dates" don't usually happen in fashion shows or tech events where the crowds are mostly made up of the same people from the same industry. I say it's always nice to meet people from other industries, and this is a good chance to do so."
With regard to the program, Brian adds, "(There is) no program, just really fun and smart conversations and an exchange of ideas. PLUS I shall be making the introductions myself. So go over to me and ask me if we know someone in the crowd who is into app development, intellectual property, innovation, 3D printing, etc and I'm sure to know someone there to introduce to you. Don't worry, it will be fun!".
Truly, it was a fun time mixing not necessarily drinks but people and ideas!
